Ramya has six years of experience with Biome Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where she specialized in sustainable design practices. She has also contributed to organizations like Sensing Local and Nivasa, addressing urban development challenges and supporting underserved communities.
As a U-CAN Fellow, Ramya is collaborating with Artha Global (India) to develop a national-level capacity-building program for urban leaders, including the CAZ project. Through her independent practice, she advocates for sustainability in the built environment, focusing on implementing low-energy consuming solutions.
Ramya holds a Bachelor’s Degree from U.V.C.E., Bengaluru, and completed her internship at Creation Architecture Studio in Auroville.
