Aanchal Aggarwal

Aanchal Aggarwal is currently a J&K Lieutenant Governor Sustainable Development Fellow, collaborating with the J&K Government on Urban Development projects with a special focus on Public Realm Design, Urban Greening, and Mobility. With a Master’s in Architecture and over seven years of experience in Architecture and Urban Development, Aanchal is dedicated to creating inclusive, people-centric urban spaces.

As a recipient of the UCAN Fellowship, Aanchal is working with the Civic Leadership and Participation team at Janaagraha to research, identify, and scale pathways for citizen participation in urban planning across India. Her passion lies in making the built environment accessible and inclusive, always placing people at the heart of her designs.

In her spare time, Aanchal enjoys hiking, reading, and documenting city life through photography. She also conducts Heritage Walks in her hometown and actively volunteers with local NGOs.
